Whenever Pluto comes to the forefront, it’s a time of reckoning. A Pluto return is not something that individuals experience because it takes over 2 centuries for the God of the Underworld to return to any specific degree in the zodiac. Nations, however, definitely experience Pluto returns. For example, the Roman Empire fell during it’s 2nd Pluto return and endured considerable turmoil during its 1st.

It’s also interesting to study the history the Pluto returns of the British Empire as each one was a major turning point, including the beginning of Queen Elizabeth’s reign as well as their abolishment of slavery during their 3rd Pluto return.

When we face our shadows, that means the sun “has our back” and is supporting us even though we can’t see that… we have to zoom out in order to see the full picture of that support. It is OUR shadow that we’re seeing. What do we know about shadows?  They generally are distorted, not realistic, can fool us (shadow puppets), usually look scarier than they are.
